August 8 2020 Messages

Good morning everyone.  It is August 8, 2020.  I pray that  your day will be blessed, you will be safe, that your health will be great, and that God will supply all your needs

Who is God to you today?  To me this day God is my compassionate Daddy who loved me so much that He sent His own son to die in my place. That amazes me.  God gives me a peace I can’t get anywhere else.

We need  to be praising our Lord all the time and as we do…we shift the atmosphere and bring God into the equation.

Lessons for today….

When you blow your fuse:

People can get to the end of their robe and have no clue what to do.  But sometimes things just overpower  us and we get to the end of our robe and just blow it.  This is one of the most dangerous things we can do…we let life and circumstances overpower our good judgment and we lash out.  Although we know we should not do this…there it is at our door. Wham!   The straw that broke the camel’s back.  At that very moment what happens is that we are not living in God’s good grace at that moment. We block out the good and do the bad.  I don’t know what  y0u have been through in your life but I know the times I have been at this point.  I didn’t always do such a great job with this.  At the very moment we lose it, for whatever reason we do, we give the enemy place and he sure takes advantage of it.  Then what happens?  We get into guilt mode at some point and that really is not good.  We can lash out…but we can’t erase it.  We need to go to God and confess what we did and why we did it. (God already knows but He wants to hear from you personally…that is called a relationship) When we do this we will want to change.  Oh…there might be consequences for our bad actions…and we pay for them here on earth…but when we confess and repent (change our direction) God forgives us and His opinion is greater than any person’s opinion) Trust God for He loves you.

There is no place for panic and fear in our soul. God is not the author of these.

No matter what is going on in our life we need to think it through before we jump in.  If it doesn’t line up with God’s word then we should not be doing it!

Discernment:   We all need discernment in our life.  We also need to put that discernment into action.  When the garbage of this life and the evil in the world…we need to make a 100% effort to use discernment before we do anything about our situation.  How do we approach our situation?  What do we say?  Where do we go?  How can we deal with this?  There is no place for distractions and panic.  Get a level head on you before you do anything.  Look at all your options…talk to God…and listen for His reply.  God will walk with you through anything….now listen to Him.

There are some things that you never say to a fool.  Why would you?  They don’t even get the truth anyway!

Good sense brings relief.... Sometimes it takes someone in our life to actually point out that what we are doing or about to do is just plain wrong.  What a sigh of relief when we stop and evaluate our actions or about to be actions…and find out that we need to stop doing something, or change what we were about to do.  Remember actions have consequences.
